Prime Consultant
With studioen acting as the Prime Consultant on your upcoming project ensures that your consultant team will be both accountable and fully invested in its success. Studioen works with a wide range of trusted consultants and will hand-select the right team to align with your project’s goals. Our collaborative approach brings together diverse stakeholders and disciplines early in the process to optimize building performance, cost efficiency, and occupant comfort.
Building Code Consulting
Studioen works with Vantage Point Code Consulting to assess your existing space to identify any building code issues that may require upgrades during the renovation process. Our team has extensive experience working with existing buildings and a strong understanding of how the City of Regina applies building code upgrades. Vantage Point will complete a detailed review of the design to ensure full compliance with all current code requirements, including the new accessibility standards that came into effect in January 2024. In addition, our team has considerable experience navigating the City of Regina’s permit review process. This knowledge helps ensure that both the design and permit application meet all municipal requirements, resulting in a smooth and efficient permit approval experience.
Programming and Space planning
Each Nicole brings a unique lens to the programming and space planning phase. Nicole George approaches the process with an empathetic and technical eye, while Nicole Torgerson brings a philosophical “what if” perspective. Together, they create spaces that neither viewpoint could achieve alone.

Studioen, along with and Andrea with View Point Code consulting, have an established working relationship with the City regarding permitting and can support you through all code and regulatory requirements that apply to your space. You can be assured that the design take into account accessibly and light safety, creating a healthy and inclusive environment. Our fully coordinated drawing sets encompass our drawings, as well as any other consultants on the team, and can use utilized to apply for permits, complete a tender process, provide the information contractors need to build from. Each construction package looks different as they are tailored to suit the specifics of your job, the construction delivery method and budget.
Tendering
Studioen can help you source the best price for your job and the trades with the skills to construct your space. Whether a traditional tender package or a custom invite only process, studioen has the capability to support your team through the tender, review and award process.
